Hello Bonnie,
I am trying to locate the grave of an old high school classmate. Her name is Melanie Kauzlarich and she passed away on July 30, 1981. I have not been out to the cemetery in quite some time, but wanted to come out to visit her grave. My parents and I stopped by on Wednesday or Thursday this past week to see if we could locate her grave. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the exact location of her grave. My dad did go over to the building to see if he could find out where her grave is. Unfortunately there was no one in the building, just the roofers. Dad did look through some of the books you have there, but said that nothing is alphabetized. I did visit the web site "Find a Grave" .com and was able to bring up a photo of her grave and a Find a Grave Memorial number. that number is 83664503. do you have a way to tell me where in the cemetery she is located? Her date of birth was November 16, 1963 and date of death was July 30, 1981. Any help you can give me with this would be greatly appreciated. I am originally from Enumclaw, but have since moved to Upstate NY. I will only be in town through Tuesday, June 5, 2012, so if possible, please get back to me before then. Thanks!

Hi. This is to honor Melanie Kauzlarich's memory:

I remember a beautiful, vivacious girl who was my friend Mark's oldest and only sister. She was the oldest child and precious, only daughter of Patti and Mel Kauzlarich. I met one of her nieces's yesterday, Kelsie Kauzlarich, while at lunch. First, when I noticed her striking beauty, Kelsie approached me and mentioned that I looked familiar, I said well maybe you know Ben Waters. She said yes, and I told her that he was my nephew. Well that was that, then, the connection was made. So I thought. Then when I thought it was over, she turned around again, and asked me if I knew Mark Kauzlarich...her father.

Well, the flood gates were opened! Then I saw Melanie, in Kelsie. Immediately. I almost lost it, I felt like crying. Kelsie bears almost an identical resemblance to Melanie. I said, I see your Aunt Melanie in you, and she said people have told her that before. We had the most wonderful little chat. She asked about memories I had of her late Aunt Melanie, Though I was only very young, about 14 when I saw her last just a few weeks before she was taken by God, killed in a tragic car accident. I told Kelsie that her aunt was very beautiful, and I remembered being at the 1981 Tri-Cities soccer tournament (Mark and I met at 13 when we played soccer) and we were all at our motel (all the families stayed at the same motel that weekend). Well, us boys were all amazed by Melanie's beauty, she was literally gorgeous, and everyone wanted her attention. We all had a water fight, as it was 90-95 degrees, really hot, that weekend, I finished by telling Kelsie the last memory I have of her aunt is a joyful, wide smile, being refreshed by the cold splashes of water in the bright sunshine. (I think of that memory from time to time, because I think of her mother Patti, filled with love, was impacted so heavily by her death, and she coped by showingso much love to others)

Little did anyone know, just a few weeks later, Melanie Kauzlarich, the apple of her mommy and daddy's eye, would be gone.

God bless the memory of Melanie Kazlarich, and may her memory and beauty live on in her niece Kelsie, family and beyond.

God Bless You All.
