Enumclaw Police Department Memorial Service - MAY (TBA for 2022)
Enumclaw Cemetry then to the Buckley Cemetery following.
National Law Enforcement appreciation Week (also known as National Police Week & Peace Officers Memorial Week) is an annual event celebrated each May in recognition of the men and women of law enforcement and the efforts and sacrifices they make each and every day to insure the safety and quality of life in our communities.
The Enumclaw Police Department, in association with National Law Enforcement Week also honors those men and women who have served in the past, all in good standing as members of the Enumclaw Police Department. Therefore, it is with great pride that we pay tribute to those before us who have passed on and are now buried at the Enumclaw & Buckley Cemetery's. Their sprit and positive determination helped define the professional standards that we all enjoy today.
It is our hope that we never lose sight of the personal efforts and professional sacrifices these individuals have made to the Enumclaw Police Department and the Law Enforcement profession. Although they may no longer be with us, they are certainly not forgotten.
This program pays solemn tribute to these past employees by placing a Law Enforcement Memorial flag and a single white rose on each member's grave site, followed by a hand salute from all uniformed personnel in attendance.
All community members are welcome to join us and pay tribute to the Law Enforcement and US Forest Service Rangers.
If you have a family member who you would like to be honored at this Memorial event please call the business number for the Enumclaw Police Department (360-825-3505) and ask for their records specialist.
